The sacrifice of Christ is the most perverse idea: God sacrifices his own son to himself to forgive the sins of humans and save them from his own punishment (fooling himself although he is omniscient). So far it's just a kit of of contradictions, but here is the most perverse part, the metaphorical idea: a good one takes the blame for the bad ones that get away unpunished and free of any guilt or worries. This totally guarantees recidivism. This nonsense has been the moral guide for generations of people all around the world. "Don´t care, do your thing , no matter the consequences or the bodies you leave behind, some scapegoat (Christ) will pay for it". And hence the societies we have...A simple "treat others the way you want to be treated" would have sufficed. And by the way he (Christ) could have also instructed people to free the slaves instead of preaching obscure and cryptic speeches that can be interpreted the way any person wants to justify anything good or bad.
